Today we are going to talk about Joshua and how he took over for Moses. Joshua was quite nervous and overwhelmed when he took control of the Israelites.
I think the most afraid I've ever been was when my son was almost 4 weeks old. I went to get him in his crib and he looked like he was having a seizure. I had never seen anything like it and had no experience dealing with seizures. Fortunately, my mom was there to calm me down and help me decide on the next course of action. 3 days in the hospital later and he was diagnosed with a form of acid reflux that sometimes can look like seizures. Scary, but harmless. But those three days in the hospital watching my baby be hooked up to IVs and wires, go through a CAT scan and an upper GI... I can't even begin to describe the fear I felt and the relief I felt when I learned he was going to be okay.

Crowd surfing earlier this year in May in front of Kid Rock. But, it was worth it. I was terrified but EXTREMELY happy about it and omg I would totally do it again ._. Mrs. Smilie says; I've always wanted to do that

When I was the most scared must be when I was 5 years old I was at Brown Mountain and I went out on a rock in the middle of the river and there was a Copper Head snake on the rock and but thank God it had a fish in its mouth. I screamed and my dad came over there and chased it up to the land and beat it with a stick.
Mrs. Smilie says:
A copperhead with a fish in it's mouth? That sounds like something that you'd read on a treasure map. "Ten paces from where the copperhead has the fish in its mouth you shall find the treasure you seek..."

The scarcest that i have ever been was when my dog was barking outside and i went to look to see what he was barking at . I looked out the window and saw a man standing my the fence in my backyard . I went to tell my parents and i saw him run off . I was so scared . I never saw him again
Mrs. Smilie says: Oh wow. That is one of my biggest fears when I hear my dogs barking outside. I HATE staying by myself because of that.

The most I've never been afraid was when I was under the impression that I'd been left behind at the rapture
Mrs. Smilie says:
Funny story: At my college we had an alarm that went off if the water pressure in the building got too low. It was right outside of my dorm room window. One night at like 3am it started going off and I was the ONLY person who heard it! I ran downstairs because I thought it was a fire and there were all these red lights flashing and NO ONE else came down. I seriously considered the thought that I had been "left behind" for a few minutes....then banged on the door of my RA until she woke up and I was sure that Jesus hadn't come back.

I rode the intimidator at carowinds. The first time I wet myself, the second time I passed out, but the third time it was fun!
Mrs. Smilie says:
That looks like a cool roller coaster!

The time that I was scared the most, was when I was I almost lost my dad or my grandmother. They both mean so much to me. I don't know what i would do with out them.
Mrs. Smilie says:
I have been in that situation, but as an adult. I couldn't imagine how scary that would be as a teen or younger. I am so glad that it was an "almost" and that they are still here with you.

The most scared I have ever been was when I went on my first haunted trail. I was 6 and at the end there was this open field where everyone ran out of the trail and running away from these guys with chainsaws. I was running and there was this adult in my way so i just ran right through him. My mom was rolling on the ground it was so funny because there was this little 4'5 at most kid, me, running and just plowing over this full grown man.
Mrs. Smilie:
I don't do haunted things....but I would have liked to see you plow over an adult!

When my brother had a seizure out of the blue. Nothing caused it, it just happened.
Mrs. Smilie says:
Seizures are so, so scary. I hope he's okay.

I don't really know how to answer this question. I know I've been afraid before, but picking the thing that made me the most afraid is proving to be kind of hard to answer.
Mrs. Smilie says:
Maybe just a general type of situation that scares you?

That does seem scary, Mrs. Smilie. I'm glad it was harmless, though. One instance that I can remember when I was really scared was when I thought I was lost with my 8 year old brother in an amusement park. I believe it was Busch Gardens. We couldn't find our parents. I was only twelve and we had to get someone that worked there to walk around with us and help find our parents. It turned out they had just went to wait for us at a different area and we didn't see them.
Mrs. Smilie says:
Amusement parks make me nervous for that reason. It is so hard to get back to your group if you get separated. I bet your parents were worried too!
